Tell me again about how heartless and intolerant Conservatives are?  Guys, this is why I switched sides.  These are values I’ve believed in all my life.  Once they were part of Liberalism as seen in the Kennedy era.  I remember Kennedy as being considered very liberal and progressive at the time.

   Those values haven’t been part of Liberalism since somewhere between the Johnson and Carter administrations. 

   I’ve always thought that it was an incredible piece of irony how the meanings of Liberal and Conservative have changed.
