I Wonder Where It Came From?

 

1. So the largest pork supplier in the US is a ChiCom run institution.
   Im SO happy.
   Back to chicken then, at least until they buy out Tyson and Foster Farms.
   After that I guess I go back to Lamb like in the old days.
   I already can barely afford Cow anymore.

2. I go out of my way to make sure that ANY pork our family eats is NOT from Smithfield.  Not as easy as it sounds with Smithfield being so close.  Think I will do a little grocery shopping today and stock up.  Thank goodness for a big freezer!  How unfortunate that I don’t have the time to be on the computer like I used to… But for reading blogs, I wouldn’t get any “news.” And I certainly wouldn’t know about this!  I knew there was a reason that as soon as I learned of Smithfield’s sale to the chicoms that I was no longer going to be buying those products - not a single one of them!!!
