1. If this had been some nobody and not an MP would she still have got a life sentence? Somehow I doubt it. Trouble is even when confronted with the evidence that a substantial proportion of the population don’t subscribe to British values. The muppets in Parliament will still be in denial. I recall when this incident occurred the BBC and others were very coy about the psycho’s justification for the attack and her religious beliefs.

3. Lyndon ,,, gotta LOVE Melanie Phillips.  Listened to her the other day on The Moral Maze. She is BRILLIANT! I may not agree with every single thing she does, but we agree on most. She tried to get an answer from this islamic spokeman, she asked him three times if he thought muslims had more freedom in this western,liberal country then they would in an islamic state. He spent some minutes not answering her question. Michael Portelo (spelling?) wasn’t bad either and laid into the guy as well. I happen to catch her on Fox news when I was home this year.  Couldn’t understand why they needed other ppl on the program.

4. It’s as inevitable as the fall of leaves from the autumn trees. As soon as another Islamic terrorist plot is discovered, a great caterwauling emanates from Britain’s useful idiots whining that once again the country is under terrible threat – from counter-terrorist activity.

   Lyndon ... Exactly what has happened already re. this latest bomb on a plane thing. And they found it 17 minutes before it went BOOM.
   On the Moral Maze this past Wed, one of the panel was using just that line of thought, and I was very disappointed in Clare Fox who seemed to believe that all the alerts and warnings on each thing was making England a nation of cowards. She seems to think ppl are being made way too frightened.
