Want to know what else is fun? Try this one:
You pull up to a red light beside someone on a cell phone. Making sure there is no one behind you, you quietly slip your car into reverse and very slowly creep backwards. Since they are distracted anyway, a trick of their mind makes them think they’re rolling forward, so they get flustered and jam on their brakes with a vengeance.
One woman was so startled, she grabbed the wheel with both hands and appeared to be standing on her brakes. Naturally, in the process she dropped her cell phone. As I drove away when the light changed, she was still sitting there - trying to find her phone......
Works even better on suspected drunks at night.
And a little known factoid:
The first “wireless” (cell) phones were developed and introduced in Newfoundland, Canada. It is also the only province (to date) to outlaw cell phone usage while behind the wheel; although several other provinces are seriously considering enacting laws charging people with impaired driving while using hand held phones.
