I like the 3800 V6 Supercharged versions too. great swap motor for little rice grinders like my 79 celica As soon as I find a transmission that works with it that is.
I would own that car.
Not a roadmaster by any means but my Mom gave me her Buick (it was my bequest in the will too) - a 1994 Century. It is like driving a tank that hovers near the ground - but it has less miles (she only put about 4000 miles each year she had it) than the minivan and it works for a second car. And oh yeah, the best part it was free.
I’m not a fan of Buick but I will not look a gift car in the mouth - it was a Buick (import - an Opal)that made me write to the regional office of GM and say I’d never buy a GM car again - it was a piece of junk back into the shop a half hour after I drove it off - and the ‘service’ guys routinely stated it was my inability to drive a standard that was the problem. Although even as a dumb woman - I could never figure out how my inability to drive a standard - had anything at all to do with the horn coming on (and sticking) every time I made a right turn!
I also hate service guys - they treat women like morons - I’m not a car guy but I learned from one as a teen and I ended up marrying one - so I’m not completely clueless about the stupid pieces of junk I drive (shhh, don’t tell the minivan I said that).
My dad picked up a ‘94 Park Avenue Ultra some years ago that had the supercharged 3800 in it. Holy crap would that thing move! And it would do 28 mpg just cruising down the road at 70 mph.
