St. George is close to Las Vegas NV. It is
a training area for all the cops in UT, be
they local or staters AND for many of the
sheriffs and FBI guys from UT and LV. All
rookies on the road just cruisin’ for a hit.Been there. Done that. Some time too.
Another place that is the same is Salem
OR.Don’t screw up in either burg.
Oh, and BTW, St. George and Cedar City
just north, are where all the meth for
LV is made, so it’s a bit dicey drivin’
around there.Imagine, Mormon meth makers. Jack Mormons?
No, CRACK Mormons.

If I recall, St. George is the town that got hit with shitloads of fallout during the NTS tests! Must have driven everyone there batty!
Yeah, cop was anal. Should have given the guy a warning...and quite likely would have escorted the guy straight to the hospital with sirens blaring!
The driver was most likely reacting to the trauma he had gone through- the cop should have escorted the man to the ER & NOT given him a ticket............

Definitely no ticket, and a good 10 minute verbal dressing down of the officer by the Police Chief for a complete failure to understand the concept of “Protect and Serve”.
