I Like This Idea

 

1. I’m 66% there - sort of

   Permit to carry in neighboring state required a set of prints & both states required a background check.  Not nearly as thorough as the SAC’s background check but it’s a start. 

   Not sure if this is a relinquishment of rights for convenience - giving the fed an excuse for “record keeping” Needs more research.

2. As long as we are still free to wait in lines rather than get the prints, scan, and background check done I see no problem.  It won’t really make us any more secure, but if it can speed up my travel them I’m all for it.
