I let the darndest things annoy me. Thing is, I find it impossible to tolerate the warmists.

  1. Good news!  I can help ease this loser’s conscience—I’m selling Tinfoil Hats that protect people from the dangerous N-Rays associated with Global Warming.  BULK RATES AVAILABLE for the poor people in Africa. Have him email me.

(altho it seems that us Melanin Deficient folks are more at risk than Africans??)

  2. There are so many more direct causes of death in Africa that I think “death by global warming due to Europe’s poor recycling” would be impossible to isolate.

As usual, an alarmist crock from the leftists.

I think one reason that this “religion” is so strong with the left is that it is egocentric in the extreme. They believe that their own personal behavior has enough impact to change the actual planet. Arrogant much? If you assumed 7 billion people on the planet, and had them all stand together, giving each person a 2 foot by 2 foot space to stand in, you would have a square of people only 22.5 miles on a side. Compared to the 57,500,000 square miles of land area on our planet, that’s infinitesimal. 7.65 million square miles of arable land support that population. Any action you take, or any action the entire world population takes together, will only have the smallest of microscopic impacts.

If someone could calculate how much trash, litter, and waste heat it takes to kill a terrorist, I would be more than happy to pollute that amount. I’d even buy the carbon credits, but you’d have to send me a picture of the dead splodeydope.

Lastly, (sigh. So sick of this) If you really want to reduce CO2, plant a tree. They eat the stuff. Or grow some clams. Green up the world a bit more. Of course, more plants mean less CO2, which means the plants grow less, which means we need more plants to survive on, which in turn means even less CO2 ...

  3. There’s even more…

Am I really the only one who remembers when the plastic bags first hit stores?

See, at the time we were all being told how awful and evil it was to kill all those trees to make our grocery bags.  It was TERRIBLE!

Then they found the solution - Plastic!  Yes!  One could buy all the groceries they wanted, and not kill a single tree!

Of course, it was difficult to reuse the plastic bags for school-book covers, draining bacon, etc - as we always had the paper bags - but… That was a small price to pay for saving the planet!

It began with “paper or plastic?” but soon, if one said “Paper, please” you’d get all sorts of dirty looks from the bagger… Wow - now that I mention it - does anyone remember BAGGERS?  Yes - they had people in the store whose JOB it was to bag your groceries for you...!  But I digress…

Seriously - do the rest of you not remember when plastic bags were seen as the way to avoid killing trees, and thus “good for the planet”??!!

  4. I suspect that rachel carson(may she rot in hell) and her followers are responcible for far more yearly deaths in Africa then any “global warming” stupidity.

  5. No kidding edmfl. Steve Malloy had a counter at his web site that counts the dead in real time and thats one big ass number.
Personally I want to thank all the green tools and Vegan rabbit fooders for making the job of eating all that dead cow so much more enjoyable by their disgust with my doing so.
    MOOOOOOOOO!!
