-’Todd Palin was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in 1986’- And this is considered scandal from a party headed by a guy who drove drunk into a pond and let his passenger (a young unmarried female staffer) drown?
That they are going to these extremes, that the Republican Convention is getting no air time what-so-ever - all indicate that the Republicans have made the right move and are about to prove the polls, the msm, and the Dems wrong in Nov.
Bush was right - which was why he got re-elected in ‘04, it was the ‘spending like there was no tomorrow’ Republicans who got a message sent in ‘06 - not to mention that the Dems thought that if they got a majority (no matter how slim) that they would be able to end the Iraq War.
Now the President has a higher approval rating than Congress - the (majority) Dems weren’t able (what was it 41 attempts) to end the Iraq War which is just about won, and the Dems thought that they had the Nov election in the bag with their historic candidate - and then McCain came up with a just as historic VP choice and all heck is breaking loose.
While I am not in the can fully for McCain - I applaud his choice, it will make it easier to vote R again this year and I suspect that the Dems are going to be in for a big, big surprize. [Aside, just as I thought, I went to the Bob Barr website and there are just a couple of serious Libertarian agenda ideas I can’t my head around - Withdrawing from Iraq immediately and withdrawing our Troops from around the World - are two of the biggies. Isolationism isn’t the answer at all - which is a shame, alot of the Party Platform, I agree with]
Any more comments such as -’What is so important about running a state that has 7 people in it’- or P Diddy’s great and profound -’“Alaska, motherf**ker? What is the reality in Alaska? There’s not even no crack heads in Alaska. There’s not even no black people. There’s not even no like… crime? Like foreign policies. Y’all may be versed on foreign policies. Y’all need to get versed on black policies and yoof policies. We the future.”’- Will go so far to insure that Obama/Biden doesn’t win the election at all, ever.
