1. i think its cool, you should throw in some free flying lessons to, no takeoffs and landings,just straight and level flight only, plus maybe some explosives training, that should keep them happy, who needs the boy scouts,

5. I have visited the Mosque in Plainfield IN ** on a couple of occasions.  They had some good food.  There is a fountain in the foyer in front of the area of worship.  One of the guests fell ass-over-appetite into it, fully dressed in his suit.   The Imam told me that they’ve had several children fall in, but this was the first adult.

   I’ve been in mosques in the US, Egypt, and Turkey and also to numerous private homes in Scandinavia, and always took my shoes off per the custom, and always had a pleasant visit.
   They wouldn’t spit on me at this domed thingy on Federal land.  It’s neither a private home nor a mosque, right?

   Too many Americans have been spitting at each other, thanks to the balkanization brought about by the diversity and affirmative action crowd devaluing the melting pot paradigm and instead assigning everyone to his or her “group” by race, sex, religion and national origin and allocating perks based on that.  After being heavily subjected to it in the corporate world for twenty years, and being unable to escape it in the media world, I’m afraid I’ve pretty much run out of tolerance for that doublethink crap.

9. Dick, you make a very good point re the Balkanisation of America. There are numerous camps dotted around the US run by all sorts of different interest groups but why should these people get Federal land? If they want to run a moooslim camp fine, but do it on their own property. It strikes me as somewhat sinister and to my way of thinking this is un American. So much for the melting pot. Still I suppose if it is Federal property there’s nothing to stop tax payers turning up for a bit of sightseeing?
