1. When I was born my parents had THREE-yes-3 -dacshies. My parents last doxie died about 4 or 5 years ago.  Doxies are neurotic as all hell-the last one “hunted” decorative rocks in my folks garden-but they’re smart & spirited little dogs and they make OUTSTANDING watch dogs. Think of them as being the animal version of me.
   (yes, I know I’m walking in to something with that comment*grin*) If it had been a poodle or a pomeranian......
