What is the Justification? National Security?
Or Just an Excuse to Shut off Communications when Obama Deploys his Private Army.
The TV Networks and Newspapers are all in the Bag. Radio soon to be as well.
When the Internet and everything else is Shut Off, How will People Communicate?
If there is no Video of the Event, It never happened.
Maybe, Ham Radio or Packet Radio Operators would be all that was left.
Anybody want to take up a new hobby, It might come in handy.
The justification is that this guy is an arrogant idiot who wants to rule the US until death and his Party wants to rule the US forever. They know that 1)the majority of Americans want less government and control than we even have now (even those within their own party) and 2) that they had to cheat to gain the majority control that they have. . .And as a result can’t hang onto it unless they fundamentally alter the system here in the US.
They also know that the two mediums that are exposing them and therefore killing them are radio and the InterNet.
Between attempting to silence/control those two factions and connecting everything to the White House and/or IRS - they figure they will have complete control - repeal the 22nd Amendment - and then The Won can rule forever.
Too bad they don’t realize that even many on their side - don’t want that much crappola controlled by DC - and when even your own side isn’t for you. Well thus the problems start.
And then add our side - Who have the guns, the patriotism and the facts. And are willing to die for it (ok, most of us). There is a difference between someone willing to kill and someone willing to die for an ideal.

I thought they would have to pull this shit (was this why Vilmar and Kim ducked out under the radar?) the EU will pull this stunt too but given the ineptitude and sheer bribeability of everything EU it will be poorly implemented, kill the internet and it makes everything published that is negative about the ruling regeme true, confirms it 100% the dems would be dead (while being dead only maked the voter turnout above 100% for dems I doubt it works for senators or congressmen) scarey, Im with you we have to sort this and not leave a terminator type nightmare for our kids to sort out. We are talking a stand for libertarian principles here, how about we all join the ex party of this principle and drag it screaming back into line?

I have no doubt the American People, innovative and inventive as they are, will find a way to connect up in spite of Executive of the internet. There were, and are other ways.
... in spite of Executive Branch interference in the proper operation of the internet.

Preview is my friend…OK, as most of you know, I have often had the displeasure of being forced to defend Obama against some of the more kooky accusations and claims of a dictatorship in the waiting. And to an extent, I still have not shed those duties or that opinion.
But even I must state that even I am alarmed by this. Granted, it could just be because of National Security reasons (for instance, the ability to suspend private electronic communications COULD be very useful in disrupting Islamist communication), but the lack of any Islamist forums getting knocked off the air makes me suspect that might not be the case.
And so, I, the official Obama defender, gives you full permission to panic. Don’t go insane with fear YET, but panic. Because even if this is innocent, it is something that could easily be converted into a weapon of tyranny.
These are dark days indeed.

Turtler, I respect your opinions and your posts, but it’s time you realized that there is no defense of, or excuse for, Barack Hussein, Jebus, The One,I’ll put you all in chains, Obama. Not in this life. Not in this time. Not in this dimension.
Obama is not us, he is...Other. Normal human standards of logic and decency do not apply when talking of, or dealing with, him.
