  1. Considering the incredible search prowess the Aruban authorities have demonstrated in their search for Natalee Holloway, there’s no way in h*** they’ll ever find Alabama!

  2. Sigh… Am I the only one who’s really sick of this Aruba story?  Granted, I believe that the Aruba authorities screwed up but it’s not American law but Dutch law which is very different.  It’s also a small island community where crimes of this nature rarely occur.  There have been many mistakes and delays in the investigation that may have allowed the guilty party to have gotten away with a possible murder.  Waiting to see the status of the duct tape with 12” long blonde hair to be DNA tested by both Dutch investigators and the FBI that washed up on shore in a sea cave.  Curious if there are any finger prints or viable DNA found on the duct tape.  But, let’s get real here; The CSI television shows are fiction after all!  Real forensic science is much more time consuming and tedious.

Personally, I don’t believe any parent should allow their 17 - 18 year old sons or daughters travel to a foreign country specifically because the drinking age is 18 for a graduation celebration! (I also don’t agree with letting them attend any wild spring breaks either!) The so called chaperones were anything but, as they were there for emergencies and not to baby sit the young adults.  Yeah, she was a smart kid, but she’s still a kid!  She had good grades and her parents trusted her.  However, she did drink and that impairs judgement, she was such a good kid that I suspect she was a lightweight drinker.  She should have never left the bar with strangers in a foreign country late at night (or early morning 1-2-3am?).  I mean that is just plain stupid!  Her friends should have pressured her to come with them when they left as a group.  But no, they left her with strangers!

Ya know that talk we all give to kids about strangers right?  Well what about telling your (extremely hot) daughter about the evil that exists in the hearts of some men?  I mean, just look at her!  She’s a walking sexual target just because of her beauty and natural blonde hair!  Yeah, no one is asking for it, but she should have been more aware of the potential danger she was in.

I think Joran is guilty as sin.  I suspect he raped her and then feared getting caught, so he ended up killing her. This kid comes off as one who is used to getting what he wants.  I mean he was gambling at the hotel casino and drinking at bars when he was underage and most people on the island knew who he was.  I believe he called his father who helped him dispose of the (evidence) body.  There was a report of the father talking with the suspects when they were released from custody that since there was no body there was not going to be a murder charge.  See that interview on Fox with Joran’s parents?  Joran’s father was sweating bullets and looked extremely nervous while his wife talked to Greta.  The suspects were released early into the investigation and then re-arrested later on.  That gave them time to clean the car and dispose of other evidence.  I also heard a report I can’t verify that a grave on the beach was found.  Looks like someone buried her then dug her up later and dumped the body in the ocean.  The duct tape washed ashore weeks later with 4 12” long blonde hairs attached.
