I always have problems scanning from newspapers… The biggest glitch is bleedthru from the text on the backside of the page. Sometimes, using a solid black card behind the image helps… The other trick I like to use is the “autolevel” function in photoshop. (I have a really old version someone gave me.)
Here’s what it did to your scan:
I think this explains the French Bad Attitude and they’re performance in the last few wars fought. The poor bastards are perpetually constipated from eating all that cheese.
Yep, thats my premise and Im stickin to it.
I don’t recall the French eating much cheese when I was there. They ‘cut the cheese’ quite a bit.
"France had about 20,000 fromageries producing and selling cheese at the end of the 1970s, but this number had now dwindled to about 3,000.”
Now that is truly sad.
Hi Jim and thanks.
I have used a black photo paper which surprisingly doesn’t do much. Maybe a black card due to thickness would be better. (?) I don’t have photoshop, not sure about auto level on my system. Must be there in the software someplace. Anyway, thanks much. Appreciate the reply.
