Peta won’t allow st.bernards to used that way anymore...we might be able to send nancy peolosi with a sixpack, at taxpayer expense of course.
PETA people chained together for traction with bottles of cruelty-free wine.
I’ve got something for you to shred if you find the damned thing. Go to my site and you’ll see. Meanwhile, yes--I’d love a brandy.
Ah Drew I am doing it one plastic storage container a week at a time - finally got to last weeks on Monday while filling the cat water thingy.
I shred, shred, shred in January - I really hate my shredder - it goes through thin cardboard like a champ and chokes and dies on the smallest and thinnest of paper. Go figure.
I decided this Jan to clean up and out (as I said one psc a week) and it has been moving along nicely. Side tracked this week (trip to DC caused me to fall behind with class - now playing catch up) - and we bought two more book cases - which have to be put together and then filled. But that is just another prong of the plow through the mess that is the storage room of the basement. I shall conquer hopefully by the end of the year.
The resulting ‘organizing’ has created another by-product situation - a mass of boxes and some packing paper that I will need to cut down to acceptable sizes for our recycling co - which we tend to recycle more than we throw away - which will be even more true when we start composting again in the next week or so.
Spring also means that we will be heading out to the back 40” (not acres) and have to clear that out - mucho mucho mess with terrible wind storms, two heavy snows and an ice storm thrown in for giggles - what global warming, I don’t see no stinkin global warming (at least not this winter). So our spring will be spent cleaning up the garden/back area - mainly to keep the wild critters to a minimum this year.
