2. Rich what you fail to take into account is that the EU now class prostitution and drug dealing as financial activity when calculating GDP. This is not a joke, they really have decided to include this in their calculations. As far as Britain’s manufacturing goes it has been a declining sector for years and now the EU is targeting the City of London which is the main generator of wealth these days.

   I am not sure what the EU’s motive is here. Are they trying to force the British government to make up its mind on whether it wants to remain in the EU? Or is it some scam so that Cameron can pretend to be standing up to them? My view is that Cameron will make out that he is not going to cough up, but when the fuss dies down he will hand over the money. The days when Maggie Thatcher would hand bag them when they demanded money are over.

   Cameron is like Heseltine, Ken Clarke and the rest. The ones who stabbed Maggie in the back over Europe. Farage is cut from the same cloth as Maggie. UKIP wont win the election, but they will keep weasels like Cameron honest.
