Mechanic told me once that that heat and vibration kills these crank sensors after a while. I have already replaced mine twice.
I suggest you make a list of the common sensors used in her motor combination and consider a regular replacement regime as affordabilty warrants. Most likely ,on this motor, the coolant temp sensor is the next to go and of course as the miles pile up the O2 units will start to lose their grasp on reality. If you haven’t already done so around 150K the Converter in these cars is pretty much dead( varies on motor quality) and will likely need replacement.

Always have to replace the O2 sensors at some point. 150K seems about right, maybe 175K. That’s around the point I had to replace them in the Saturn.
