1. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to each and every BMEWS fan.
   Also add a prayer that Obama will be the best president in many years. (Don’t hold your breath though, at this rate his term will be more scandal ridden then Worthless Willies was.

   I’m also particularly fond of a message that came over the loudspeakers of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) as she was departing dock, probably headed for the Persian Gulf:

   “Peace on Earth to men of goodwill… All others, stand by.”

   Here’s a little bit that’s gonna have you splitting your sides.  I met Jack Simmons at a luncheon today.  For A Hollywood type, he’s remarkably sane.
