History of England starts at 1700, says university

 

1. It’s happening here - some woman head of either a State or possibly the NEA wanting to confine HS US History to after 1860 or some such nonsense - saw her on tv.

   Just one more way to insure the populace remains ignorant until death.

   THE MUDVILLE GAZETTE on Biden’s Iraq Victory Claim: “There’s an odd thing about this administration claiming credit for victory in Iraq – half the country knows Biden and Obama had nothing to do with it, and the other half will never admit there is a victory to claim. However, since they think we’re all stupid, I guess the White House wants to give it a shot.”

3. Wardmama - I think I heard it was South Carolina, and no history before 1870. same-same.

   Guess none of that 1215 or 1066 or 1630 stuff matters in England anymore. After all, those 3 dates make England what it is. Um, “was”. Don’t want the new population getting any funny ideas now.

5. Call me cynical but this would make Nu History start in the middle of the little ice age, cutting out all the warm pereods in real history so the graphs will show some kick ass unprecidented warming now!
   Perhaps the next stage will be to start NuHistory in 1946 so there will be no history of great Britain at all, just the serfs and overlords in Brussels.

7. Second thought on this - in addition to ‘misplacing’ all the guns we have - I am guessing I just might have to ‘misplace’ all the books (and on the verge of adding my Dad’s library) we have. Keepers of History & American Patriotism must unite to save America (and the World as we know it) Now.
