  1. I love pre-Raphaelite art.

We have several posters hung around the house. A couple of Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s works. But quite a bit of Alphonse Mucha’s stuff too. Admittedly, I inherited the Mucha stuff from Grandma. Original prints from the 20’s and 30’s. (I think he died in the late 30’s) Worth some money, I hear. But my wife likes them too, so they’re framed and hanging around the homestead. Does surprise people from Church when they visit: there’s a somewhat erotic Mucha print hanging over the fireplace. Nothing overt; she’s fully clothed, in a very short shift, it’s just that it’s obvious she’s either cold, or turned on, if you know what I mean. Mucha was good at that. Rossetti was too.

I also have lots of this pre-Raphael art that I use for wallpaper on the computer. If anybody likes that, and wants some for wallpaper, let me know. I’ll post it here, or on my own website for you to download. I use 1680x1050 wallpaper. You can always crop/reduce them to fit your computer screen.

  2. Drew, many thanks for the link and like you guys, I’ve always enjoyed this form even while knowing nothing about it.
And Christopher ... yeah. I’d like to see that. Thanks.
