Here Comes Your 19th Nervous Breakdown

  1. You mean to tell me that some of the Mooslim Dingbats don’t trust lunatics with nukes?  Maybe one of them would be willing to help take them out - or do they only have the balls to attack peacful infidels?  I still like the idea of arranging a “small” (let’s say 10 to 20 kiloton) accident at one of Iran’s nuke sites.

  2. Sounds like a plan, just make it look like the rag’s screwed the pooch and tickled the dragon’s tail a little too aggressively. Whoops, awshit, BOOM!!!!!

Immature children shouldn’t play with matches… But then they don’t have Smokey Bear over there, they probably would kill him for being an infidel hirsute beast…

I just that Ahmajerkydingbat’s plane ride to Cuba this summer meets up head on with a “Bermuda Triangle event” over the open ocean. Wouldn’t that be a shame.....

  3. I’d bet real money that the first Muslim bomb won’t go off on Israel (cuz everyone know they will nuke the fuck out of every Arab country they could reach in retaliation) but on another Muslim nation over some dumbass religious squabble.

And it couldn’t happen to nicer people.  chasehatchet

  4. Uhhh, anyone care to remind the Rags of what country was the ONLY country to ever use nukes?

Granted we’re a different country than we were in 1945, but we still have the potential.  If a “Poor Man’s Nuke” hits us, I’ve no doubt that one or more of our “Rich Man’s Nukes” will be shoved right up someone’s ass.

Medina and Mecca should be at the top of our target list.

  5. If you can nuke one country then you can nuke 1000 countries.  big_us_flag

  6. It is reassuring that the Arab neighbors are worried—scared even.
It is not reassuring that they probably won’t do anything about it.

OCM: Have you read the above?  Anybody else. MUST read.

  7. Oink - excellent, sobering and (as Bulldog might say) spot-on.  The pointy heads usually never put on the uniform.  I’m all for giving Iran a nuke or two.  I think one MIRV from one of our subs should do the job - and if a dirty bomb or a real nuke goes off somewhere un-nice, the guy at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. ain’t gonna have a choice.

  8. Sagan was one of the founders of the junk science farce known as nuclear winter, the same raving loonies who are behind “global warming” hysteria now.

An entertaining host on a TV show, mediocre self promoting scientist who admitted to making up data points for his nuclear winter “study”.

Posted by gdonovan    United States   03/23/2006  at  06:28 AM

  9. Sagan was another top-notch scientist who became unhinged when the subject was Peace or The Environment.  Asimov once said that our industial cleanups are just dispersing the pollutants—gosh, Ike, that’s what we do when we wash the dishes, isn’t it? Are you recommending fusion or fission?

Posted by Oink    United States   03/23/2006  at  07:36 AM

  10. Lest we forget, we’d probably run out of targets before we ran out of nukes.

Posted by MAJ Mike    United States   03/23/2006  at  09:08 AM

  11. I don’t know MAJ Mike, how many cities with a population over 10,000 are there in the Middle East question

Remember, some cities might require multiple nukes.

Posted by Z Woof    United States   03/23/2006  at  09:24 AM

  12. Some cities just require BIGGER nukes… Hiroshima & Nagasaki were relative firecrackers compared to today’s meaner and leaner nukes.  15-20 KT was back then, 60 years ago. Standard kaboom is closer to 500KT today, and lot’s of ‘em can ride on a single missile. No need to wear out those 50 year old B52s, and risk their crews.

Posted by Rat Patrol    United States   03/23/2006  at  01:17 PM

  13. You ability to not debate resonably astounds me- You point to a study of nuclear winter which I point out is flawed *as Sagan himself admitted it was politic driven and not real science* and from that you infer I’m a “nuke lover”?

Dude you need a reality check in a big way.

  14. You know something . It amazes me just how the anti nuke crowd is all for stopping the use of our Nukes but they don’t dare take the same position with the weird beards in the ME. All I have to say to the anti nuke crowd is they can be happy in the thought they can go play a nice game of hide and go fuck yourselves because the people most likely to use a nuclear weapon are not the ones that own the most of them and we certainly wouldn’t strike first against innocent women and children for sole purpose of their religeious values are NOT MUSLIM. Ask us if we shouldn’t launch a few dozen Warheads when the city of NEw York or L.A. or New Orleans is radioactive dust caused by Hamas or one of Osama’s crew.

  16. I just got another insight from the book, Menace in Europe, The Skipper recommended.  A second generation Bengladesh Muslim, non-practicing, was amazed that when he came from England to the USA he was regarded as just another regular Joe at the office—assuming he could do his job.  But the real difference was American Women.

In England, the women either ignored him or he was regarded as some sort of sexual fetish by rebellious English women.  In America the women saw him as a man.  There’s our solution—take these terrorists out and get them laid.

JUST JOKING! I think it speaks well for America that we care more about who you are, and whether or not you can do your job, than about where you came from and how dark you are.  Not perfect, but a hell of a lot better. Incidentally, back in the Old Country, Bengali parents preferred their daughter to marry light-skinned men. You got that?

Posted by Oink    United States   03/23/2006  at  06:30 PM

  17. Oink old buddy, you’re not suggesting that if we treat the Islamists as human beings that they’ll behave accordingly?  The Bengladeshi you’re referring to seems to be pretty well willing to adapt a decent life (haven’t read the book yet, just working on the bits you posted), not necessarily bound by religous dogma.  You’ve hit the nail on the head about why American society is great.  Our strength comes from being a heterogeneous society that accepts people of all faiths and cultures.  That is the wonder of American culture.  We are all here and we do our best to leave the old BS behind and work together.

The key problem with the Islamists is that they think our way of life is terminally corrupt and must be destroyed!  They like being narrow minded, murderous psychos.

Posted by Dr. Jeff    United States   03/23/2006  at  09:32 PM

  18. Jeff, my good pal, I firmly believe the most dangerous Islamicist is not the grubby, bearded, ignorant peasant; it’s the apparently secular, Westernized one—the one who discovers his Islamic ‘roots’ after graduating Harvard. These latter types are irredeemable & should be shot on sight.

Unfortunately, as everyone from The Pope to T.S. Eliot has been telling us, and correctly so, that our Western soul is corrupt and materialistic. Europe is years ahead of us in this regard.  I’m not suggesting that we adopt Sharia, you understand—but I am unprepared to die for McDonalds and The Gap Store. But if the cost of freedom is enduring mindless consumerism—I’ll take it.

Diversity? To me REAL diversity was the Marine Corps. I’m a whitebread boy from small town Indiana. My best friends were a black Texas sharecropper’s son, a Chicano from the barrio of L.A., and a Canadian Jew.

  19. Dieing for McDonalds? - only if you eat there.  Our souls aren’t corrupt - only portions of our lives.  Part of the price of freedom is being wrong and really screwing up sometimes.  I learned an awful lot from my own screw ups.

As far as your Harvard grad - like I said - psycho.

Posted by Dr. Jeff    United States   03/23/2006  at  10:31 PM

  20. Diversity? To me REAL diversity was the Marine Corps. I’m a whitebread boy from small town Indiana. My best friends were a black Texas sharecropper’s son, a Chicano from the barrio of L.A., and a Canadian Jew.

Amen, Oink.  In the barracks you weren’t black, white, brown, orange or purple - we were all green.  You weren’t Christian, Jew, Muslim, Druid or Pagan - we were maggots.  (Until graduation - then we were magically “soldier"). And you were friggin’ NOTHING else but AMERICAN.

OCM - You live in peace only through the efforts of those whose boots you are not worthy of cleaning. You should tone down on the weed - it’s destroyed a lot of the brain cells.

  21. oink prefers to have his sons marry Asian women.  That might be a mistake oink.  My Dad, may he rest in peace, said, “These Chinese women are like flies.” My Chinese sister-in-law was always trying to wipe his mouth like a baby.

When my son was 14 he spent a week with my brother for a summer vacation.  He came home saying, “When I grow up I’m going to marry a Chinese woman, they even take your socks off excaim

I got married before I knew what kind of woman I wanted.  My wife married me to introduce hairless people into her family’s gene pool.  It’s nice to feel needed. blank stare

Catman, even REMFs are important to maintaining the peace.

Posted by Dr. Jeff    United States   03/24/2006  at  09:28 AM

  23. Extraordinary.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand your point of view- On one hand nukes and the fallout that follow are bad, on another you wish insults and lingering death on someone’s family who has not wished or done you any harm. At no time did I indicate the destruction of the world was a desirable goal, just pointed out Sagans paper was flawed & political *as SAGAN HIMSELF ADMITTED*

Logic and reason seem to be beyond you, your worse then the lowest animal in my book. The ability to reason and not be driven by our base instincts is what separates us from beasts. Beasts at least have the excuse they are unable to reason as man, you choose to ignore the ability when it comes to anything that conflicts with your worldview.

You have chosen to ignore history, ignore facts and ignore your intellect. There is no discussion of anything you disagree with as facts have no meaning to you.

I truly pity you- 66 Years of experience and it is wasted except as a warning to others.

Posted by gdonovan    United States   03/24/2006  at  05:05 PM

  24. Again logic and reason elude you-

At what point do I advocate the the use of nuclear weapons? At no point in this tread do I do so. You simply assume since I pointed out the Sagan’s paper was a flawed joke that I’m “pro nuke” without even asking my opinion on the subject.

66 years of freedom is not equal to 66 years of experience you learn & adapt from.
