her dogs kill girl, owner charged with causing suffering to dogs. this isn’t a joke

 

1. Isn’t that the key indicator of breakdown in society - when animals are given more consideration than a child?

   Sick - and do the parents get a chance to go after her in civil court - oh wait - she’s on the dole - no such luck there.

   What bs - complete and utter bs.

2. A $200 fine and she walks? Sounds to me like “Who let the dogs out?” is going to be the new, punishment free way of murder for hire in the UK from now on. Not that this one was said to be a murder, nor one done for hire, but still. A fine and a short sentence that’s suspended? Pretty damned disgusting, and I’m certain that criminals were paying close attention to this case.
