  3. I’m terribly disappointed with this diatribe from Danny DeVito. I’ve long thought he was a hoot in just about everything he plays in. I don’t want to know his politics or how he feels about the president or any other personal details. I enjoy a slapstick, silly movie and was looking forward to seeing this one. Now I won’t, he’s not a good enough actor to make me forget the drunken raving lunatic sitting on Rosie O’Donnells lap.

    I don’t want to support anyone who is so out of touch with reality and so rude and dismissive of those on the other side of the political divide. I would guess that most of the people who actually watch The Spew have the same moonbat leanings as Danny and Rosie, if it weren’t for BMEWS I probably wouldn’t have known.

    I’m really getting annoyed with Hollywood. With the Dannys (DeVito and Glover), George Clooney etc. all being such raving looney lefties; and now several TV actors are bouncing out of the closet. I’m fed up. Do these people really think that they are such wonderful actors that they can feed the public just anything and we’ll keep lapping it up?

    People who make their livings through performing for the public should learn two things:
    1. We don’t want to know about your personal life;
    2. We don’t need you to indoctrinate us in politics or lifestyles.

    Or, as someone once put it “Shut up and sing.”

  4. Several years (decades?) ago Jessica Lange starring in a movie about farmers and losing thier land or some such. A while later I see she is testifying before Congress on farming policy! So, thinks I, maybe she did some real research while making the movie; maybe she has delved into the topic enough to have some cogent insights. And maybe lending a bit of star power would be a good idea.

    Well, no, dear Jess just read some script shoved in front of her by a lobbyist. Turns out that the committee mostly just wanted to ogle Ms. Lange, who was still quite the looker at the time, and get to meet a real live movie starlet.

    And maybe get into her panties, as I heard about, but that would be another story.  red face

  5. All you need to get on television now is to be a drunken, clueless idiot.  Hell, I could do that.  Every Friday. And Saturday.  Sometimes Sunday and national holidays too!

  6. Devito is about four-foot nothin’...Fat bald little fireplug midgfet guy…
    He played “The Penguin” in one of the BatMan flicks, and Arnold Schwartzenegger’s long lost “twin” in another.

    Enough of screamng, belching, farting drunk “celebs”, here’s a REAL MAN singing a about a very timely topic:

    Strangers on my flight,
    turbans they’re packin’.
    Wonderin’ if they might,
    plan a hijacking.
    They could pull a stunt,
    before this flight is through.

    Something’s on their minds.
    I saw them mutter.
    What that in their hands?
    Looks like box cutters,
    I’m gonna kick some ass,
    if they make a move.

    Strangers on my flight.
    Two smelly people,
    and they’re not talking right;
    and in a moment,
    I will grab a baseball bat;
    and that will be that.
    Swing like Joe DiMaggio,
    and rip them both a new a-hole.

    And if they pick a fight,
    and try to screw us,
    I’ll punch out their lights,
    just like Joe Louis.
    It would feel so right,
    for strangers on my flight.

    Ratta Tat Tat Tat,
    Budda Bing Bang Boom,
    Zooma Zooma Zoom.

    Send those bastards to the moon

  7. <heavy sigh>

    Just one more celeb on my list of people who I will not watch, listen to, or otherwise patronize thier works. I cannot and will not buy tickets to his movies, or rent them on DVD henceforth.

    Its getting to the point where I have almost totally stopped going to the movies and buying music.

  8. I’ve never liked this punk, don’t really give a damn whether he’s successful in his life or not.  Best he and his kind stick to entertainment, keep their thoughts to themselves, but I know that’s not what “sells” on the MSM.  Pissant.

  9. Wardmama has joined the grownups of the World and is actually employed for filthy lucre. But alas - I am working from home (there is a God) and I am making more than I ever made before, including two gov jobs (yeah) and using the computer (proof God is a Man - either he has a wicked sense of humor, vindictive as hell or was watching football and missed the discord on this one)[Lucky for me I have a live-in computer nerd, so my boss hasn’t caught on I’m a techno-idiot]. It is nice to just email my work in and since she is in FL - won’t be going into the office anytime soon.

    Re: Devito - can not grasp how this kind of stuff continues to be allowed left, right and center [Ok I know, it is the bushitlerburtonco chimp GWB-no big deal, we are all so much smarter, better educated and so much better at speaking in public than him blah, blah, blah] - and some of these morons (Susan Estrich for example) go on and on how mean spirited and close minded the conservatives are. I guess it is a case of takes one to know one.

    And so it goes.
