Well if she ever tries that lie again, you can come back with, “This is England. NOTHING gets done without the usual/proper paperwork. Let’s do that right now, and send me with a copy, shall we?”
Hubby going through that with the PT - both Docs wanted to do PT first but somehow between two of them - couldn’t get a referral (NOTHING here can be done without a referral) - it’s a real pain in the neck. The paperwork is in the referral office - BUT - she can’t do anything until she talks to the insurance to make sure all the is are dotted and ts are crossed.
When we used a local doc - we went to the hospital for blood draws - the clinic vampire was terrible at it, never seemed to understand the test codes (scary) and they ended up time and again double charging my son, but never anyone else here, wonder why?
And it’s only going to get worse as O’care sets in for good (pray that Romney is true to his word)
Tiger .... right you are and you can bet we won’t do anything again without paper.
Wardmom ... referral comment reminds me.
We have been waiting about two months now, or close to it, for the wife to get to the pain clinic. And that’s just for the consultation first. I just hope wife’s doctor didn’t forget that as well.
She said she wrote to the clinic and they’d be directly in touch with us.
So far, nothing.
