HAS THE NANNY STATE ATTITUDE FINALLY REACHED THE SHORES OF THE USA?

 

1. Peiper, you need to tell your friend that happened to to contact the manager of the store immediately if not sooner if that happens again.

   Your friend should also write to the head office of whatever the store chain is (they should be able to get the information by doing an Interenet search) and let them know what happened.  Assuming is not the way to go with a sale.  You might also want to point out to your friend not to let her daughter touch any bottle in the store while under age lest one of the knuckle-draggers have a conniption fit and pull the same thing all over again.
