Hard Work
I know what you’re feeling there Drew. I’ve been places and seen things that, for the sake of my employment (and to prevent criminal charges), have caused me painful cheek biting.
How can people be so stupid?Time to invest in a good MP3 player, and a good set of headphones, so you can listen to something that will put a smile on your face as you work. I’m thinking perhaps the soundtrack to Patton or maybe John Wayne’s 1973 album, “America Why I Love Her”.
When I’ve had more than my fill of the statist kool-aid being pushed at me all day, I’ll reach for those.
Right, it’s those evil evangelists that are the root of the world’s problems and are corrupting innocent young Liberals into becoming mindless drones…
Keep thinking that, idiots.
Because maybe if you keep humming to yourself, you can drown out the sounds of Russian shells laying waste to Georgia, the *crack*crack*crack* of China’s executioners decimating the cream of China’s opposition, the fanatical ALLAHU ACKBAR of the Jihad claiming yet more victims to burn on the pyre of the global caliphate, and the screams, begging, and pleading of all those innocent victims, including the dead ones you and your ilk failed to protect.
So keep on talking and talking and talking.
Perhaps, if you talk long enough, the world will change to your whims and the nightmares set to plague the 21st century will subsume to be replaced by a handful of those bigoted Religious fools you so speak of.
I have honestly come to the conclusion that there are some people who deserve to be killed if and when the next Great War comes.
Unfortunately, knowing the coward’s way, they will probably do a Yossarian over some perceived or real problem in the system, thus leaving the honest and the honorable to fight the war they never could, and never will, be able to.
Perhaps, when these fools face death, be it in the slight reflections of a Russian or Chinese firing squad or the shiny glint of an Islamist’s blade, they will realize, seconds before they depart this world, how much damage they have done.
But I do not hold out much hope.

Those are some mighty eloquent words.
Us simpler folk might say.
“When he stands like an ox in the furrow with his sullen eyes set on your own,
and grumbles ‘this is not fair dealing’ my son, leave the Saxon alone”.I hope that both of our Nations survive and once again will have Liberty.
