More like continuing Great Depression #2.
Actual unemployment is at least double the official number.

The problem with the numbers (both employment/jobs & approval ratings) is that all these numbers are manipulated to show Obama/Dems in the best light possible at all times. Add to that, that the msm has become the propaganda arm for this President much as they talked down/against the last one. If Bush had been able to do OIF/OEF as they should have been fought back in 2003 - we would not be here now. But everything GWOT - went to the ‘top’ back then and everything was Bush’s fault. He attempted to get going on Frannie & Freddie (I still remember Barney spitting out ‘nothing is wrong’) and Social Security. And then the msm drumbeat began in earnest. The point was to cover the behind-the-scenes work to insure that this empty suit got elected. Meanwhile, nothing and I repeat NOTHING is this President’s fault.
And here we are - massive unemployment, the housing market crashing, gas going up daily, and the specter of Obamacare looming over everyone (no, it is NOT just business worrying about what will happen in the next couple of years).
The House voted to Repeal Obamacare, the House voted in a Budget, the House voted in Cap, Cut and Balance. And meanwhile Reids Senate hasn’t voted a budget (oh wait, my bad - they voted down Obama’s budget 97-0) in 857 days - so to use their vernacular against them - Obama has been fighting 3 unfunded wars for 857 days, not to mention an undunded stimulus, unfunded unemployment benefit extensions, etc.
Boehner is a coward - he could stand firm and fight the loser Dems tooth and nail - and he caves every time. I’m shocked he even said No to this latest insult to Congress (as we all know that Obama will only use this forum to blame Congress for the unemployment (i.e. jobs for those in Rio Linda)).
Throwing in the msm pandering, distortions and lies - It is a wonder that America continues to exist at all. But that is the secret the crapweasels in DC don’t even consider. The majority of Americans want simply to work hard, play harder and LIVE FREE. We’ll keep it going until we take it back or die trying.
It might get ugly - but I don’t think in the way that the crapweasels in DC expect.
Can’t wait for the riots after The Won loses - but given the last few weeks - if anyone stands up to him at all in the next few days - I suspect he may give his LBJ speech - won’t run, won’t accept. Because I don’t think that Obama could deal with losing at all ever, but more, won’t even want to face the possibility. At. All.
