1. And very deep roots that can take over a garden totally. That was our experience in So. Calif. yrs ago.  Beautiful plant and flower tho. Had some potted Cannas here recently but they just didn’t do well. Have nice display of Cosmos but they don’t look like the Calif. variety we once had. Nice bright orange in a corner outside window. Have had two or more days of on and off rain. Tail end of hurricane.
