  1. I was driving home just before total darkness—few cars on the country road, overcast, wind blowing leaves across the road. The Oldies station had played “Witchie Woman”.  I was happy for Halloween. There ought to be a time to celebrate the creepy.

  4. We had good weather here today, sunny and in the 60s during the day. I was able to go out with a few friends and hand out what seemed like a ton of Avon brochures.

Got home, dressed up (a Morticia Addams type getup for me, the kids were the Thing and Mr Fantastic from the Fantastic Four movie) and took the kids to hubby’s squadron Halloween party (Hubby dressed up as WWE wrestler Undertaker). Did that, then went to this strip mall by the house and did some trick or treating there. After that we hit up our neighborhood then went home and handed out candy.

All in all, a very good Halloween. Bit of a chill in the air but not too bad, about 40 degrees out. My oldest son JJ had his best Halloween yet (hey for being autistic he did pretty well tonight) Kids each got a bucket of candy and we still got candy left over.
