2. I’m lucky if I hit a stationary target from 20 yards w/ my 9mm. Hitting an airplane is nuts.

   Besides a .22lr could penetrate some airplane skin. Why the fuss over a .50?

3. Vilmars right, no average home owner could hit a moving target going at about 300 mph. Much less see the bastard at 35,000 ft. Besides, no terrorist is going to mess with a .50 Cal weapon to take out an airplane. They are going to go for equipment that has much more firepower and is more acurate. For example a rocket launcher or a missile launcher. It is not legal for any US citizen to own a fucken rocket launcher.
