  2. What freaks out these politicos about 50 cal sniper rifles is that their armoured Limos can’t stop one.

If you shoot an armoured limo with a 50 cal sniper rifle, it goes through it like a hot knife through butter.

The reason that 50 cal’s scare them is because if there ever is a revolt, or someone wants to actually hurt one of those moonbats, a 50 cal can and will do the job very easily, and because of the range, it will be almost impossible to catch the assassin.

The 50 cal frightens them, because they are or could be the targets of such weapons, and it scares them to death. Because they would NOT be safe from them in any civilian vehicle made.

It’s not terrorists that scare them, WE SCARE THEM....

  3. So true Jaguar.  And Pork Face Ted Kennedy’s son or ”Son of Porkface” and NAZI Germany both use the prositution of psychiatry.  Psychiatrists were willing tools of the NAZI regime to “Diagnose" opponents as mentally ill.

Should people diagnosed with ”DEPRESSION” ever be able to by a gun again? gun

  4. If a child is diagnosed with “ADD” then they can never buy a gun in this lifetime again, right? rolleyes

  5. I have ADHD and a form of Autism-AND I suffered from depression-and even my GFW doctor-great guy btw-thinks that I’m a “safe” gal with a weapon-inspite of his disliking guns!

Unfortunately the State of ill-ANNOY refuses to issue a FOID(gun ID-no CC here) to
anyone that has had"mental issues”. Doesn’t matter what they are.

If I lie on my FOID app I’ve just made the state’s case for them about my mental state-if I’m honest they’ll still deny my app.

    I intend to appeal.
They have NO RIGHT to deny me the right to self -defense! angry

  6. The only thing worse the someone that claims they want to get rid of guns is someone that claims they are more Pro gun then anyone because they do not even want serial numbers on firearms. IF only you all could see the idiot I have to deal with over this subject on a web site called Conservative Underground. It’s enough to make you wish that they would take gunsd away so that stupid fools like this can’t get their hands on them. If anyone wants to go there I’ll be happy to post the link to the site so that you can see for yourselves if that’s ok?

  7. 50 caliber ammo? As in 50 caliber machine gun ammo? There is such a thing as a 50 caliber black powder gun, but you have to be able to cast your own shot. While it is big enough to take down a elk, you still have to be close enough to hit it, as traditional black powder guns don’t have a lot of range. It sure as hell doesn’t present much of a national security risk.

I understand Jaguar’s comment, but it is not like you can buy that 50cal sniper rifle at your local Wal-Mart

Now I’m a proper Colorado redneck. I’ve got my 30 ot 6, a varmit rifle, and a shotgun. Thats plenty for home defense and hunting, except I’m thinking about getting a pistol for the pickup, a high caliber pistol.

Thats just rambling though. All it means is I like guns, use them often, and they are a valuable tool for the right occupation, I’ve shot more than one cattle chasing dog or coyote.

But could someone tell me where the hell a guy gets 50cal ammo? If a terrorist or criminal wanted to get a hold of such, I’m sure that they are doing it illegally because Uncle Sam has already got some kind of purchase tracking on ammo of that high a caliber. Besides, the only law biding person that would possibly want such a weapon is a collector. Christ, think of the cost. Whats more is that a proper collector can still get almost any weapon they want as long as they fill out the proper federal paper work, what I’m talking about is weapons that are illegal to own by the general public, including a vast array of fully automatic weapons. You got the money, you let the feds know who you are, and you can own it, that includes vintage model 50cal fully automatic machine guns with ammo. Further more, I’d give five to one odds that Sen. Jim Beam Jr.’s bill language doesn’t change that.

I call Bullshit. Chappaquiddick Jr.(I’m getting this spelling from Google) is just introducing this bill to stir up anti-Republican noise. Fuck him and his uncle’s Oldsmobile.

  8. LC Geno

First off, machine guns are NOT illegal, if you can get a concealed weapons permit, you can get a fully automatic machine gun.

You just have to get a $200 tax stamp, that’s it, for every automatic weapon you own, you pay $200, keep the stamp with each weapon, and you are 100% LEGAL.

In some state fully automatic weapons are indeed illegal, but federally they are not.

Also, 50 caliber sniper rifles can be bought at gun shops, gun shows, etc, for just under $5000. They are NOT illegal in any way, and no special paperwork is needed to buy one.

Same paperwork that you would fill out for buying any other firearm.

  9. Well Fuck, I never knew. But it will be a cold day in hell before I spend $5000.00 on a gun.

  10. LOL, This is true, 5K for a sniper rifle is a little intense, I’ll go with a 30-06 with a scope if I need a sniper rifle.

I refuse to spend more then $300 for a handgun, my carry weapon is a CZ-70, the Czech knockoff of the Walther PPK .32.

A 30-06, a 12 gauge shotgun, a .32 or above cal handgun, and a 22 rifle for plunking and small game, should be just about enough for anyone, all purposes are pretty much covered.

Although there is a new rifle that I am looking at by HK, NICE, very nice, and under $500, and can be converted to full auto, although, if you need to shoot more then 1 round, you need more practice.

Fully auto may sound cool, but it is really a big old waste of ammo, because it ain’t gonna hit what you’re aiming at, but it’ll keep the targets head down...LOL
