1. There’s a fine line between bravery and stupidity, Kiefer. Trying to disarm Americans is stupid—and dangerous. As for Morgan, well, he’s a Brit. ‘Nuff said. (the last Brit I was impressed with was nicknamed ‘The Iron Lady.’ She was so tough she kept Reagan from ‘going wobbly.’ No offense intended to you, peiper.)

2. I don’t really care who agrees with you, Piers. They’re wrong, you’re wrong, and you’re still a pretentious wanker. You’re a guest in this nation, Piers, and you’re dangerously close to wearing out your welcome. The 2nd Amendment says nothing about whether or not someone “needs” a particular weapon, such as the AR-15 you’ve become so fond of lately, it only says that my right to own one shall not be infringed. My need to own one stems from the rest of the Bill of Rights, and specifically the need to protect myself from government attempts to infringe those rights. In particular, the 3rd amendment would seem to point to the need of We The People to own weaponry similar to what the standing military has, excepting (maybe) the really massive stuff.

   Piers, you’re just sore at us Yanks because we kicked your asses, twice, when we declared independence from you lot. And then we turned around to help save the world when the Germans rolled over Europe, twice, and the Japanese beat on Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. And we were able to do all of that, and prevent a Japanese invasion of our mainland, because We The People own guns.

   Piers, when you prove that you have the first clue what you’re talking about, I might start listening. Until then, keep blathering away in relative obscurity; we won’t stop you, we just won’t pay any attention.
