  1. If you can’t change the laws, even after 37 years of effort, then maybe you should reconsider your viewpoint; you simply do not have enough other people who agree with you to make the changes that you want.

Well said and good point Drew.
Have you also noticed the types (and they generally do follow a type) of guys who do this?
They could be twins with one brain. It never ever seems to occur to them that there are ppl who are just as convinced of their own position as are the guys who have found a convenient excuse to do what they’d ordinarily do anyway. All they need is a socially accepted cause to verify their own lonely and empty existence. They are generally ill educated and not always very articulate except on one issue. As well, they don’t come from a background of much education.

There are many who can well express themselves on the topic and argue with some intelligence, without going out and killing someone. But there will always be the fanatics that are well beyond reason, and need a reason for existing.

  2. This wasnt about Abortion. It was about the premeditated murder of a fellow unarmed citizen. Im glad the jury took so little time to realize that and do justice. Nuff Said.

  3. I’m Pro-Life.  Having typed that, I’m also anti-murder.  What Roeder did was plain premeditated murder.  Even though what Tiller was doing is also murder, the Lord says, “Vengeance is Mine.” And so It Is.  Roeder’s actions take God out of the equation.

  4. Pretty much on the same page as all here - I’ve always thought that people like Roeder do a great disservice to the Pro-life movement. Two wrongs never make a right.

  5. Blue, Can you say with certainty that every death re. Dr. Tiller was in fact murder?
For example, what about a case where the mother’s life in danger? What choice then?

  6. ”. If laws exist that you don’t like, do what you can to change the laws. If you can’t change the laws, even after 37 years of effort, then maybe you should reconsider your viewpoint”
Consider this, over 50% of Americans now oppose they types of abortions Tiller performed. Abortion was not voted into law, biut forced upon us by an unrepentant court of injustices.
Also, the types of abortion Tiller performed are illegal here in Kansas. Tiller stayeed in business by funding Nola Foulston, Kathleen Sebelius and AG Morrison. He was prosecuted by AG Kline, but it was stalled in the courts. Legal wrangling kept him free. Yes, Roeder is guilty, but had Tiller simply taken his knocks and gone to court in a fair trial, he would le alive. In jail, but alive.
