  1. After The Revolution we simply must keep a handfull of these people in government to remind future generations of how lucky they are—to be rid of them. And for general shits and giggles.

  2. I saw Geraldine Ferraro on Fox last night lying through her teeth about Alito. I don’t often agree with her, but I didn’t think she was a liar. Now I know better.

This is just getting started. The moonbats are really gonna be screechin’. WooHoo. This has to be the right choice.

BTW, the dissent Ferraro was lying about was carefully based on a decision by Sandra Day O’Connor. If they keep this up he’s gonna eat their lunch and their dinner at the hearings.

  3. Hey Skipper! Isn’t it time for that whining crybaby seal of the Democrat Party to be displayed once again?

  4. http://www.barking-moonbat.com/404.shtml

It has been the standard 404:HTML ERROR page here for nearly two years.

    LOL

  5. Congress, on the dem side, looks like an ensemble TV show - the same group of characters getting the bulk of the lines and time on camera with a few bit players wandering thru.

This is fine for a TV show, of course, but in real life it is, well, odd. Are there no other folks in the party?

It seems this group of 10-ish media hogs, to be polite, are always up there. What about letting others carry the water a bit? Murray and Cantwell from Wa get on local news occassionally, but the party leadership seems to think that “leading from the front” means being in front of the cameras getting all the attention.

As far as Alito’s nomination goes, of course, it was a slam dunk that only a milque toast what’s her name type or Ginsberg clone would be at all acceptable, and other than that we are looking at having the spawn of Satan himself on the court.

  6. That pretty well sums it up, Bob. Throw in that it was the liberals on the court that killed the medical marijuana case with the conservatives dissenting in support of allowing it and it’s becoming an interesting Bizzaro world to say the least. Who’d have thunk it? It would appear that they’ve switched sides.

  7. I’ll sign the petition-not that it’ll make a wit of difference.
ILL-ANNOY’s dimwits would vote against the Savior if he was perceived as too friendly to the GOP!
    *siiiigh* rolleyes

  8. The Supreme Court Justices don’t have anything to gain or lose by kissing anybody’s ass, OCM. Remember that we discussed this a while ago. They’re there for life, they’re not getting any better jobs so there’s no leverage on them.

Nope, they don’t decide guilt or innocence, they decide if the rules were followed and if the rules were correct. That’s what a Court of Appeals does. They’re the final Court of Appeals. They decide if the previous courts did it right.

Tough as it is to do, the SCOTUS has reversed itelf over the years. I suppose the most well known example would be Plessy v Ferguson. I suppose Brown v Board of Education might be the best example of the reversal of Plessy.

Consider that the framers of the Constitution were considered quite liberal in their day, possibly some were considered radical. Go figure.
