Yeah but it can’t be better than Trader Joe’s Butterfly Shrimp in butter and garlic.
The garlic has twin purpose. Some slight added taste and a major Vampire turn off.
Also turns away unannounced neighbors wanting to be friendly. (or to steal the shrimp)
Well, that all depends on the seasoning. This is a nice way to cook up a whole chicken quickly on the grill, and I only posted it because I thought my caveman usage of the hedge clippers on the chicken was pretty funny. Be glad I didn’t use the circular saw.
They are first class pruning shears too. Razor sharp titanium blade coated with some non-stick stuff, and the handles have these gears on them to multiply your squeezing power. They work fantastically well, as do most products from Fiskars.
I know of chefs that have a chainsaw and wood gouges in their kit.
I’m not a chef, but I do play at cooking and have a hacksaw in my tool drawer (think of a ham bone in your way).
You can do it in the oven too - learned it from a Portuguese recipe we saw on a Food Network show for a whole chicken - split it in half and so forth and so on. Cooks faster but not really worth all that effort to me - as far as the end result.
