  1. Skipper I trust by now you will airborne helping pump up the CO2 levels. Enjoy the vacation.

I recommend you do a Google or similar search for Milliband & batshit mad.
actually this chap says it so much better than I can.

However I must warn you he can be somewhat foul mouthed!

Don’t get me started on windpower. I can truly generate more power with my farts than these pathetic wind turbines. They are selling here for around $2800. How long would it take to recoup that kind of outlay? Not in my lifetime I bet. What I find highly amusing is both major parties are trying to outgreen each other. Meanwhile the public is getting sick to death of this crap. Channel four did a very good expose here on how the whole thing is a con trick and a lot of people are starting to question the new religion.

  2. Uh, what I am reading is not only a massive expense to the ‘individual’, tax scam, enviro-scam (I mean how many of their ‘inventions’ work they way they claim and truly make a difference?!?), and invasion of privacy - but when you think of older homes (Windsor Castle comes to mind for me) - wow the work, cost, etc seems prohibitive - so is the end result just the rebuilding of the World? And what does that mean to the historical and traditional?
[BTW, have they gotten rid of the House of Lords yet?]

As far as Texas and the executions - they do it by the book - they just don’t waste any time when the appeals are lost and go ahead with it. OH was doing the same, but some pc whinner stopped it with the pain crappola.

I suffer tension and anxiety every day - just trying to get by as an honest and hardworking American getting taxed to death and watching my country get dragged down into the pc/envirowacko/oneglowball world gutter and no one gives a damn at all. So I don’t care about someone who intentionally breaks a law and (given it’s a death penalty sentence) tortured and killed someone else. Put ‘em to sleep permentantly - it’s the merciful thing to do. For everyone.

  3. peiper but to us rational and thinking people, it proves our main points about gun bans -

    1) guns don’t kill - people kill people

    and

    2) that guns bans only leave the law abiding defenseless (especially when combined with a lousy and worthless justice system)

Don’t even get me started with the two daddies, two mommies and nambla crappola - when it’s dem Franks, Studds et al, it’s normal private business. When it’s repub Foley and priests it’s perverts and pediphiles. . .

and the hypocrisy goes on and on. . .while society goes to hell.

  4. Peiper the ban on incandescent bulbs actually originates from the EU. The trouble is our “beloved leaders” don’t want that part to come out as it shows just how much power is slipping away from Britain and Ireland etc. and how the unelected EU increasingly runs our affairs.

Wardmama4 the socialists are doing their best to eliminate the House of Lords as it stands, but the part that cracks me up is Blair and his cronies are being investigated by Scotland Yard for allegedly selling peerages. They want to make the House of Lords elected but at the same time people are throwing money at them as a bribe to get a seat there???

Oh and as for the death penalty. Well sadly they did away with it here a long time ago. If it was put to a referendum then the people would overwhelmingly vote to reinstate it, but what they fail to understand is we couldn’t bring it back even if we wanted to. Our membership of the EU of Socialist Republics includes an agreement to not carry out capital punishment. Our leaders always fail to mention this for some reason!

there’s a story and even a photo of, get this, a ten year old criminal ... with an established criminal record already. It’s rare indeed to publish name and photgraph of young offenders, but this little creep sure has worked for it.

Unusual to have a photo Peiper as the legal aid (i.e. free) lawyers usually cite this as a violation of the criminals human rights. Welcome to Blairs Britain where the criminals have more rights than the public at large.

  5. I sympathise with your wife’s plight Peiper. The conservatives are not a party I could vote for with that asshat Cameron in charge. The UKIP are a bit of a shambles but are the only party that tells the truth. The BNP are an unpleasant bunch and actually in political outlook more akin to the socialists or maybe national socialists?

As for your point about the numbers of crimes carried out here using knives. I have attached a link to the latest incident where a vicar was fatally stabbed. No doubt the government will call for a ban on knives now! Still they can console themselves with the mantra that it’s much worse in gun totin, cowboy country in the US with the help of the media.
Yesterday the BBC on Radio 4 had a play based in Pakistan and even that contained propaganda One of the protagonists claiming GWB was an idiot. Joseph Goebbels would have been impressed with that one.

  6. I’m a construction man and kind of a building code geek, and if you folks think that this kind of thinking isn’t or hasn’t been discussed in the states you are WRONG! Energy Conservation Codes that are adopted by local jurisdictions in the U.S.A. are currently and fastly moving towards a zero carbon footprint on all new residential and commercial construction. It is shit like this that drives construction and maintenance costs sky high. What can not happen in the U.S.A. is forcing a building owner to upgrade the structure to the current building code unless the owner remodles or adds an addition to the existing building. If you start to modify an existing building then watch your ass because you could end up bringing the whole damn thing up to current code standards.

I’m in my 40’s and I’ve been told by a friend of mine that sits on the IBC code writing committee that zero carbon footprint standards will be written into the building code prior to the time I reach my retirement. The Fed’s won’t have a damn thing to do with it. It will be Green Industry, Legal, and Insurance lobbyists will get these items into the building code. The new code book will get adobted by your local jurisdiction and Bing Bang that will be that, and you as a owner of a property will get stuck with the costs.
