  2. Wow. What big numbers you have there, Mr. EXXON, if that is indeed your name. Tell me, Mr. Exxon, what is your return on investment?  Are you now, or have you ever been a part of the HalliburtonBlood4OilCheney cabel?

  3. Well, at least, it keeps my brother with job security - he works for ExxonMobil in Baytown, Texas............My brother moved to Texas in 1982 for a job with Zapata Oil (George Bush’s company)........When the oil business went belly up Bob stuck it out - his wife had a good job to keep the family afloat and Bob eventually went to work for Exxon & has been there eversince..........We kind of have a joke in our family - Bob went to work for Zapata Oil & our family name is Zapatka...........kind of ironic............. LOL

  4. Yeah. no price gouging there.

  5. As much as this pisses me off, there is an economics concept of charging the price that the market will bear.  i.e. if you sell pizzas for $2,000.00 a piece you won’t sell too many pizzas but if you charge say $50.00 then you will sell some pizzas.  So why sell pizzas for $12.00 a piece when you can get $50.00?  But, it had better be a kick butt pizza for $50!  However, this still pisses me off.  But since when is it illegal to make money in America?  Exxon is a huge global corporation so their profit will be huge. At the same time, one wonders if there is some price fixing going on there somewhere… I’m not an economist so basically, I know squat besides knowing enough to understand how much I don’t know which is what college is good for!

  6. It isn’t just business, the damn MSM goes on and on about how the prices will SKYROCKET. Business “Bored” meetings are held - they ask each other how much can we raise prices?  General public says “duhhhhh ok” and believes it, pays extra, gets miserable/pissed off and blames Bush.  It is a win/win for the MSM - they manufacture news & the public gets mad at the current administration.  Always remember it’s all Bush’s fault, and the MSM doesn’t hesitate telling us how miserable we are.

  9. Okay, for my area I use this site. I’m thinking it’d only be of use to Christopher. They link to other sites in Ohio though and I’ll bet that you other folks can find something similar in your area. Check the links for something that will work for you.

  10. Well apparently, Exxon only makes 8 cents a gallon it’s just that they sell so many gallons to make that much money.  They are a huge world wide company!  The rest of the $3 is state and federal taxes, tariffs, environmental regulations, regional formulations, shipping, research and development, etc., etc., etc.
