I wonder if sharks like the taste of dumbass?
"In what must qualify either as an act of supreme bravery or extreme folly...” Hmmm, in all honesty I’ve never been able to tell that there is a difference between the two. Granted, such folly is praiseworthy when it’s a mad act of sacrifice for a compelling cause, a situation soldiers, firemen and police often find themselves in. That doesn’t make it any less risky to the point of madness, it just makes it easier for people to agree that yes, perhaps a moment of madness was the only practical solution. That’s much of what an officer’s training amounts to in the first place, an attempt to instill judgement concerning when such madness is not only justified but vital. Is it not?
Apparently this guy thought it appropriate to justify such risk, in order to catch a picture of Big Bubba Whitey coming to gently chide him about perhaps rethinking his priorities.
Nah. He and his buddies were probably just drunk.
Or Steve Irwin wannabes. Or both.
