2. Drew - I own a T/C Contender and have a .45-70 barrel for it. See here:

   

   The writer is correct: anyone can pull the trigger once. Just try pulling it 4-5-6 times. Never mind trying to hit anything. Just pull the trigger. Heh.

   Soon after I bought the barrel, but before I ... er...learned, I had ordered a box (of 20) of Speer African Grand Slam bullets in .45/500gr. That was back in the early 90’s. I still have them - I never loaded them up, because I knew it would just be a waste.

   I think this summer I’m gonna load 1-2 of ‘em up and see if I can shoot clean through all the ground-floor barn posts.
