  1. Given the amount of wear on the lettering in the roadway one would have to assume that this “error” has been there for quite a long time, which says a great deal about the quality of education being given by the school staff who had to have driven over the marking.  But, it’s probably against the union rules for a gummint paid school employee to fink on a fellow gummint employee at the street department, or it’s another case of “not my job” syndrome, either way it’s just another example of our tax dollars being wasted. Can’t wait until this mindset takes over health care.

  2. The funny thing is that it looks like the Crosswalk at the top was painted more recently or with better paint(you can see a larger picture at the linked article).. you would think somebody on that job would have caught the Scohol.

  3. No no no, folks, it’s a contraction. Short for “it’s alcohol.” It ws in response to a question that one member of the painting crew asked another “Hey, cholo, you stoned or drink?” “No, mang, not dope, scohol!”

    Sheesh, anyone could see that.

  4. Bet our intrepid painter was valedictorian of his graduating(from grade school)class.

  5. Maybe up until they received the complaint, they used it as a ‘stay in school, kids, and study your spelling- or you’ll end up working for the highway department....”
