Government Torture
This is BS. If a senior is paying $1,000 a month on Rx, or $12,000 per year, the most they can owe is $3,600 a year plus a 5% co-insurance on Rx.
The average cost for Rx coverage in Medicare, in America, is $32 a month. In Detroit the newspapers are telling seniors who are not taking Rx, darn few, not to pay $32 a month and wait and if they get sick next March just join then, for a penalty of 1% or $.32 a month. Wow, this is a tough decision.
What a wonderful gift to seniors from America’s taxpayers. The newspapers like to say it’s confusin’ so old people will hate the President.

Delay did further assert, “After almost a decade of promises — mostly from Democrats — and legislative negotiation — mostly by Republicans — we delivered. The final bill created the drug benefit, health savings accounts and other market-based reforms, all without raising taxes. It was a tremendous, bipartisan achievement.”
Rx in Medicare was the price we paid for the tax free HSA. Now the Socialists are fried, it’s just a matter of time.

Hello - It’s illegal in America to purchase Rx coverage after the age of 65.
Your Rx might be free because you’re broke OCM, so you don’t care about everybody else.
The only way at present to get Rx coverage is Employer paid, like the Unions.
If Tom had a clue he would have legislation that would allow American’s to purchase Rx coverage in the free and open markets. But no, Tancredo want’s to criminalize the purchase of Rx coverage like Cuba, hez no saint. He still calls the HSA an MSA so hez a little too lethargic for me.

OCM: Next year Medicare Part B premium is $88.50. (going up about 15% per year)
Part B premiums are paid 75% BY TAXPAYERS AND 25% by the senior.
