Gosh, an ad?

   Raise your hand if you thought I was banned.
   ( my god,does Drew evr clean these crickets out of the comment boxes?)
   Actually I banned myself for 30 days because I could.
   It was a test.
   I passed.
   Good job on the ad thingy Drew,Hope for more and better in the future.

4. No, Rich was not banned. And he did take a month off ... mostly. He spent that month sending me about a dozen emails a day, all with links to stories. I ran a fair number of them, but not as many as I would have liked. I am not a complete slave to this blog; I do have other things to do.

   Let’s hope that Rich continues to make intelligent germane comments about the posts themselves, and keeps right on sending his links to me in the mail.

5. Woo hoo, the ad came through!!!

   Our new sponsor is Sportsman’s Guide, and I have been hired to shill crossbows for them. Well, maybe not shill, but that’s what they wanted me to link to.

   I don’t know much about crossbows. Yet. But they are simple machines with a long history. And you know me when it comes to machines, and to history. I could probably manage a post or two. Not that writing about them is part of the deal, but I’m new at this running ads thing, and want to make sure I give proper value for the money they’re spending. And it’s a lot of money. Well, kind of. Let’s just say it’s a significant chunk of the annual BMEWS expenses.

   I have to research the ethics here. Am I allowed to cajole my readers to CLICK HERE, please, or am I supposed to just ignore the ads and let you follow them if you feel like it when you find them by chance?
