  1. I dusted off my laptop last night and wondered why Google wouldn’t pull BMEWS up.  Finally got to it from links at other sites and bookmarked it promptly.  Who knows, maybe we angered Jimmah Carter, who then pulled some strings to have BMEWS de-listed - ain’t popularity cool?  LOL

  2. Comments are now fixed.

    Yoo-hoo!

  3. I don’t think that BMEWS is a victim of fraud; I think it’s a victim of the new Politically Correct Google. Lord help us.

  4. Offer to help run down dissident journalists in China and Iran and other thug states, then Goggle will put BMEWS right at the top ot the list!

  5. That’s really strange, Skipper. In all the years on the Internet, I can’t seem to remember the last time I saw someone disappear off the screen like that. It shows 191K hits on the phrase, but no direct link to the site. Wow, wtf

  6. You banned 5 people recently? What did they do, compare you favorably with Jimmy Carter?

  7. You are A number one Joe on Accoona, sailor! I heard a rumor that Accoona was supported partly by the sale of dogs to resturants in China....

  8. Shinjin - It wasn’t Jimah it was Algore - Remember he invented the internet!!

  10. Skipper, you should go ahead and ban Google.  In fact, we all should.

  11. This would be SO odd if it were them.  And sad, too.  I hope it isn’t.  Anxious to hear if it is, though.  That would really be something.

  12. Bat - Doh!  You’re so right...how could I have forgotten!?!

Posted by shinjinrui    United States   05/09/2006  at  12:22 PM

  13. Google has been de-listing blogs that tend to lean right for a while now.

Posted by Tyler    United States   05/09/2006  at  04:27 PM

  14. "tend to lean right”?  Skipper, hard starboard!

  15. Whoa,

I go away for a while and the universe changes!!

    What happened here, skipper?

I don’t see oink or oldcatman or any of the usual suspects.

  17. I wondered what was wrong - for a techno idiot like me - no clues, just sadness I can’t respond. Then I get busy, so I didn’t even get a chance to come back and check up.

You know I can’t even register how the liberals can say with a straight face how rigid and mean spirited the Right is when crap like this happens. Go google Cindy Sheehan and you have to get into double digits of the page listing to find even a hint of the anti-Cindy articles.

Yeah the Right is just so closed minded and mean spirited - the only reason the libs understand those concepts is because they use them continually.

  18. Wow, what a sad situation for you to deal with Skipper. This is a classy and spectacularly well done blog and to see folks use it for splattercasting is extremely disappointing.

The outrage that they would try to kill your site out of childish spite is particularly...revolting.

You put a huge part of your life and interests into a site especially one as elaborate and well-developed as this one. This is comparable to someone trying to knock down the Sistine Chapel while Michelangelo is still watching the paint dry.

The worse part is that you are having to deal with this crap while there is much going on in the world that needs your posting to bring to light.

    I’m so sorry.

I am proud to say though that during my absense, I’VE BEEN BANNED FROM THE HUFFINGTON POST COMMENTARY!!!!!

I just wish I knew which post got me such an honor...so I could print it out and frame it!

As to the situation with Google, I think it is likely that before long most conservative sights will be basically invisible especially if you are going toe-to-toe with the China-Walmart-ExxonMobil consortiom or the Mexiqaeda invasion.

I’ve come to realize that the gov’t we thought we elected has far more interest in the bottom-line of their business friends (and in breaking the resistance of us stupid slaves to our silent servitude - “silent majority” means to ALL of our leaders that we should all shut the f**k up).

The worst part of all of this is as bad as Bush is becomming, he is making Hitlery’s Presidency a virtual certainty.

Wait ‘til SHE gets a hold of the Homeland Security Department!!!

  19. At the risk of beating a dead horse, I did hear today that Albert Gore (former VP and one time presidential looser) was a senior advisor to the GOGGLE company. Apparently he was “given” a block of pre-IPO stock as a parting gift; no doubt that Albert Gore (former senator and presidential LOOSER) left a strong make on the company.

  20. In the immortal words of Sherman Potter “Horse Hockey”

Google’s stoopid response to my inquiry follows.

    Hi Tom,

Thank you for your note. As you may know, our search results change regularly as we update our index. We find new sites, incorporate updates to existing sites, and lose other sites, which also means that many sites’
    ranking will change.

It’s our intent to represent the content of the internet fairly and accurately. We don’t manually assign keywords to sites, nor do we hand adjust the ranking of sites in our search results. Sites’ positions are determined automatically by many factors, which are explained in more detail at http://www.google.com/technology/index.html

We appreciate your taking the time to write to us.

    Regards,
    The Google Team

Tried using google to find wwww.barking-moonbat.com the other day.
Surprised that I could not find it on google as I had been able to do so in the past. Had to use another search engine to find the url.

Has the site been delisted and if so, why?
