  1. So it seems he programmed his own time.

  2. It sounds as if Justice Thomas was attempting to freeze Justice Breyer’s crocodile tears.

Amazing how much concern for murderers, robbers and rapists there is among those who would (and often do) turn around in the next instant and sanction the slaughter of unborn innocents.

Cowardice can be cruel beyond belief.

What happened to whoever carried out that three-victim hit at the behest of this man?

    hmmm

  3. Who cares...one less murdering scumbag the state of CA needs to support (made even more expensive by his disabilities, no doubt). What about the survivors of the victims of this man’s hits? Doesn’t anyone care about what the effects of waiting for 27 years for justice are doing to them?

    Good night, sunshine…

  4. I’ve ceased being surprised that the media only reports about the poor depraved killer and reduces his victims to just a number and a date.  I’m all about summary street executions.  2gunsfiring

  5. Give him a recent photo of Bianca Jagger and feed him a viagra every half hour, that should kill him dead.

  6. I like how the writer put Mr. Allen’s actual reason for being on death row at the very, very end of the article as nothing more than a vague, unimportant afterthought.

  7. PFC—Plain F-ing Crazy

The only nuttier thing was when one of the Kennedy-cousin-rapists was tried as a juvenile—when he was an adult!  He had committed the crime as a kid, but it took years to get evidence together. So we have this adult sociopath being treated as a poor child needing rehabilitation & proper upbringing.

Both make as much sense as digging up a corpse and seating it in the electric chair.

  8. Bob: I’ve heard that it costs more to execute someone than lock him up for life. Sounds right.

  9. Good riddance. Cruel and unusual punishment, yeah right! The fact that he was old, blind and confined to a wheelchair just speaks about how ready he was. He was probably the best fit person to face execution. Californians should fight for immediate executions, like they need more reasons to waste taxpayer money. Who can guesstimate the final bill for that hemorrhoid, not including Police/Detective costs in order to capture him and the first trial which found him guilty of Capital Murder, because that is the most he should get. And the price of a Forty(something) cal pistol round shot in the back of the head and a decent cleaning crew afterwards. Labor for the execution could be obtained for free, just ask us for volunteers.
It is about time to worry about the things we need to worry and stop appeasing those who hate us and/or want to destroy us, just for the fun of it.
    wink
