4. I think Columbus Day is a bullshit holiday anyhow.  And I agree with some parts of the above posts—it’s degrading to any People, Indigenous or not, to depict them as the Noble Savage living in a Garden of Eden.  They’re real folks, fully as nasty and -ed up as we are.  Some of the Native Americans living in big cities are not celebrating their cultural heritage. Not one of our countrr’s brightest moments:

5. What him say? The Voice of the Socialist Elite (efete?) NPR had a news story about protests in Denver over the Columbus day parade. The spokesman was some guy named Cohen? Wonder what tribe/band he was associated with.

   Interestingly there was an article on netscape about “unfriendly” cities (at least to homeless peoples) Berkely being listed in the top 10.
