This is exactly what the bds msm is about - base their beliefs on a lie, therefore anything written is written to support that lie and anything else is ‘bushitlerburtonco indoctrination’ - no matter what the truth or reality is.
And also the other part of this triumvirate - embronic stem cell research. Lies, baseless lies and damn lies - and it is being sold hook, line, and sinker to the American Idol non-thinking stupid masses.
My belief is that the dnc, left, activists and other assorted lunatics just truly believe that that money is power and power is money and are now simply devising ways to suck more and more money out of the working people of the world. To make their lives more than quite livable (without working a real job) and to get into positions of ‘power’ to advance their real agendas of controlling each and every aspect of the human race. Right now starting with the functioning countries of the World - as then takeover of the lesser countries of the World will be so much more easy. . .
I wonder what has made the real scientists start to speak out - perhaps it was Al’Iinventedtheinternet’Gore going on Oprah and calling them all psudoscientists?

Where is the credible evidence that mankind is the sole (or main) cause of global warming as envrinomentalists postulate?
Do you not wish the author to tell you his credentials as a basis for establishing credibility? What I see is a complete definition of the scientific method normally used to prove a theorem and how the current climate debate completely bypasses that process.
Sounds like your mind is already made up, Anon. Isn’t that a little opposed to the scientific process? Again, show me the proof that man is the sole or main cause of global warming. Where is the evidence of direct cause and effect?

All so, how come those aircraft in a earler post are under 300 ft of snow n ice from the 40s?. should i rev the 4x4 in the morning to get it warm? . looks like the wind is getting up these so called friends of the earth types cause they know that when the highest populated country on the planet gives up its push bikes and drives cars nothing will happen, exept more deaths on the road in china.
Anonymous is correct in pointing out that there is no basic scientific argument in the article. Nonetheless, to accuse Ball of politicizing is a touch kettle and pot.
“Global warming” means “man made global warming” in the minds of Goreites and his ilk. Never mind the historical evidence of on-going cyclical warming/cooling since the planet formed. As I sit on land that was under a mile of ice only 10 - 14000 years ago, in an area that is still moving upward as it rebounds from the weight of the glaciers, next to a body of water created solely by the gouging of glaciers, near mountains full of glaciers that continue the retreat started so long ago, with greenery everywhere and liquid water and two and a half seasons (we are pretty moderate here) and abundant wild life and people and cities and settlement and all, I am actually glad that the earth is in a cyclical warming trend. As it warms, more land will be exposed, more water become liquid, longer growing seasons, more places for people to live, more food, more water - what is not to like?
Ah, yes, when it comes down to it, to the Envirocultists, it is HUMANS who are un-natural, not part of nature and whose population must be reduced. But, not to worry; as warming continues, more and more of the most volumous and effective greenhouse gas will get into the atmosphere - water vapor. Makes all the others pale in comparison.
So, the world will eventually return to a cooling cycle, water will ice up, land will get covered by snow and ice, growing seasons will shorten, solar radiation will be reflected back into space, temperatures will drop and the utopia of mass starvation and human population decline the true believers of the environment cult actually want will arrive.

Thanks Rickvid, that’s exactly what I was going to say. Dr. Ball lays down his creds, shows that he is a real scientist and an academic peer, but spends barely a line or two on debunking the nonsense ... because to a real scientist it is such nonsense that it is almost beneath notice.
Global warming caused by humans is akin to blaming getting a speeding ticket because a fly on your back bumper flapped his wings while you were driving. Yeah, we’re adding to the heat equation, but what we add is so small compared to the whole system it defies notice.

I heard Dr. Ball on George Noory’s Coast to Coast AM radio show a couple nights ago. It is refreshing to hear someone who takes a logical and scientific approach to this great myth.
CO2 is not a toxic greenhouse gas, it is an essential part of out atmosphere, and life would be impossible without CO2.
Plants and trees consume CO2, during the summer, and not during the winter, when they are mostly / ordormant and leafless - evergreens are the exception.
Warming and droughts occur on a roughly 22 year cycle. So does solar activity, the sunspot cycles peak every approximately every 11 years, when the sun’s magnetic field does a polarity flip, and it takes 22 years for the cycle to complete. THere are also 88 year, and longer solar cycles, the variations in the earth’s orbit around the sun, and the precession, which takes about 25,300 years to complete one full cycle.
Terrestrian and undersea volcanic eruptions launch more debris, ash and gas into the atmosphere than mankind has ever accomplished.
Enough cold, hard scientific fact, time for a little levity:
