    I can’t wait for hurricane Earl to come and kill us all. At least the temperature will go down for a couple days.

    OCM - we have a few less stinkbugs than we did last year. Can we blame that on climate change?  The honey bees are all sick. They have SHCS (Sudden Hive Collapse Syndrome) or something like that. Not kidding, we’re all going hungry if the bees don’t make a big comeback. Look up California almonds pollination.

  3. My tomato plants didn’t produce like they usually do, and we have had cooler days than normal all summer, except for a few ‘warmer’ than usual days.
    I didn’t note any unusual flowers.. The mayfly explosion was also milder.

    Just an observation…

  4. Twice in August the mountains here have had a dusting of snow on them after a storm.  That hasn’t happened before in my memory.  Damned global warming!
