Junk science is NOTscience and does more damage than good.
Sort of reminds me of an interaction with a MD once. He wrote a script, I filled it. Usually don’t read the insert they give with it - but this one caught my eyes - in big bold letters it said - Call this 1-800 number and get a Medic-Alert bracelet immediately. So I read the whole thing and it seems that this particular drug reacts with just about everything you can take and also bold was ‘Do Not Take Cough Medicine while on this Medication.’
So the next appointment - I talked with the MD about this particular medication and why all the extreme warnings. He said - and I quote - They have to do that, it is the legal stuff to protect them. Don’t worry about it -.
Yeah right. Well I happened to have worked for a seminar once with a MD who worked for the CDC (his specialty was with medications and breastfeeding safety) - he left me with my forever belief on medications and the warnings - it is not there unless at least one person in the study suffered that reaction.
Now the ‘study’ is run by the company that is producing the medication (not an independent firm), the ‘study’ is manipulated to come to the conclusion they want (i.e. they eliminate any variable or condition that might affect the study negatively or produce side effects) and of course now the ‘reviewers’ in the Journal of choice are paid by or work for the drug manufacture (not an independent panel). Thus - the fix is in - and we the patients become the ‘test’ and ‘trial’ subjects.
I now know why my dad was so concerned about the ‘new’ trend in Big Pharma (and this was in the 60s)!
It is like after the discovery of penicillin and the polio vaccine - Big Pharma saw Big Bucks and science (and safety) be damned.
And gasp - now we see that Glowball Warning is also - someone saw Big Bucks and science and reality be damned.

If they ever hear there is a Freedom of Information Act now in the UK, I think I’ll delete the file rather than send to anyone. Does your similar act in the US force you to respond to enquiries within 20 days? - our does ! The UK works on precedents, so the first request will test it.

2 in section 4 on p13. As I said it is worded carefully due to Adrian knowing Eugenia
for years. He knows the’re wrong, but he succumbed to her almost pleading with him
to tone it down as it might affect her proposals in the future !

These are the kind of “honest scientists” we are up against. They are charlatans and crooks.
It makes one wonder how this was hacked? I would guess that a real scientist was involved with all this and hoovered up this stuff and left it” hackable”, I hope that if and when all the AGW gestapo have been sent to the wheel this guy can be identified and given the keys to the research of the UK, at least.
