Ha, that’s what cats do! They will smash glass ones like they’re working the gravity bag. And then they climb up the tree to try to hunt the angel at the top, cuz with wings on, you know, it’s a bird, right?
You can spot the cat owner’s Xmas trees with ease: they’re tied to the wall with sturdy cord, use 50lb cast iron tree stands, and feature all plastic ornaments and no lights on the lowest 2 levels of the tree.
The itty bitty kitty has shown interest a couple of times - we have a table tree (probably 2 feet tall) on a bench - since it’s all dvds - why bother with the real thing. The psychotic cat prefers the presents - he sniffs them all and then sits there like he’s reading the tags - it’s cute. We’ve had more damage from the grandchildren than the animals ever did. Although we did worry the few years we had real trees and the dog - bad things can happen with that combo!
