  1. Clarkson is amusing and he does make some serious points with humour. He is for a BBC presenter quite controversial, but the BBC know if they upset him he will just walk and take Top Gear with him. Mandleson is without doubt the most despicable, slimy, toerag that ever infected British politics. I can’t even bear to isten to him he makes my skin crawl the odious maggot. Think Grima Wormtongue in LOTR and you get the idea. Lower than a snakes arse.

  2. Now I’m guessing here but those could be a few of the reasons that LyndonB and Chris have left old Blighty for other shores.  There might well be other reason as well, but that’s a good start. So then, without further ado .....  Heeeeeeeerrrrrssssss Clarkson.

Chris? Do you mean me Peiper? That just Chris’s me off! grin

    Never heard of Clarkson before.

  3. Yup that kind of sums up my exit! mind you Im old enough to remember the great socialist deceptive liar Wilson and the fat lying creep Heath.

  4. Christopher ....

Google Clarkson (Jeremy) Top Gear. VERY big on cars and also on YouTube. Can be very vitriolic and is usually funny. Draws big audiences here.

Lyndon ... wife has same nauseous experience at the mere mention of the name Mandelson. Easy way to hear her go off on a rant. Just mention his name. Or for that matter, say Labour and off she goes.

  5. I like Clarkson, even though he acts like America is full of inbred hillbilly morons whose idea of fun is to shoot anything that moves as well as most things that don’t from the front of their trailer home.
He speaks his mind honestly, which is more than I can say about most presenters, and with a large dose of common sense. I just wish he would spend a year here and learn of the state of the country before flippantly throwing around some of his remarks.
I approve of Mandelson being tied to the front of a van and driven around the countryside, however, I can see the van filled with rotten vegetables to throw at him while on breaks.

Just my 2 cents worth.. I expect a penny’s change.

  6. I like Clarkson too, I also voted on the prime ministers website to make him PM, quite a lot voted for him! yes he does not understand the USA and that is a shame. I would prefer to see mandelson tied to a rope from the rear of said van, 10 miles at 45 mph would adjust his attitude enough I would think.

  7. Funny the article is no longer there. Maybe Fondlesbums of Bhoys took offence? Bill I wouldn’t worry about Clarksons take on the US. He is only pandering to the BBC acceptable view of the US as either a bunch of crazy, gun toting redneck Republicans. Or the only other type of Americans are Obama voting,Tofu munching, tree hugging liberals. In any case when I lived in the US I had to put up with all the “jolly old England”, isn’t it foggy all the time? everything stops for tea stereotype. Clarkson to his credit did buy an American Ford recently and they actually admitted the new Corvette and Cadillac were not too bad. The Dodge was still rubbish though!

  8. A thought, our American friends are discovering the reality of having socialism force fed to you. It is not too late for the USA, the big problem is the cancerous effect it has on the conservative party and I think this is also the cure, force the GOP back to the right, perhaps have a close look at the leftwards pushers and their motives and discredit if you can. At present the most conservative party in the UK seems to be the BNP who claim to be a national socialist party but are more fascist by nature (look at the uproar in the left about them, you would think they were way, way right, not fellow left travelers)

  9. Read our Constitution.  Understand the limits it placed on Government, and why.

If you want to help us oppose the rampant socialism growing here - PLEASE COME ASAP!!

Maybe we could work out a trade: We’ll take all the hard-working small-government types and Once-great Britain can have our welfare classes…

    Free “acorn” nuts!!
